To temper my comment, I'm not great at technology. I've got two of these, and when they're both repeating my network, it causes (for some reason) a great deal of confusion for my suite of 'smart' wireless devices (even though they're at either end of the house, with my main router in the middle). Due to this, I'm back to just using one, which works perfectly and certainly does what it says on the tin! I believe it's a good price too, a lot more than I paid.
How do you secure these devices. If you use this in gateway/extender mode do all the security restrictions like MAC filtering, SSID hiding, time restrictions etc come across from the original router that you connect to ?. Also the picture shows an OS plug. Do we need an adapter for this or does it come with an AU plug ?
And is there a model that has gigabit over ethernet instead of 100MBs and/or ethernet over power
