Suggestions for Soundbar (Change/Exchange/Change of Mind)

Hi Everyone,
I bought JBL 5.1 from JB HI FI on September 23rd 2020 (less than 2 month)
on that time I had Samsung Q60 65 inch which blew up and Samsung accepted and took it back.
prevoiusly I had less options of soundbar due to 65inch TV stand
I know got Q80 85 inch and thinking that JBL is little to small for this and pretty sure I can do with big Soundbar like 7.1 or 9.1 etc

Thinking of Either Sonos Arc or Samsung Q90R/950 or JBL 9.1

Now, The BIG Question is can I talk to JB hi Fi about this to say I need to upgrade or change or just getting better one!

I know change of mind is only for few days/weeks

P.S. I like this current soundbar and is giving me no issues at all but just thinking to get even better one

    Of course you can talk to them.

    It'll be up to the store as to what they do about it.

      Because they tend to ask really dumb questions or they post a question and then disappear off the face of the earth. Also, their question is often posted on multiple forums too.

      In this case, they're asking if they "can talk to the store"? Of course they can talk to the store! LOL

    • Honestly curious about this too. Iโ€™m thinking itโ€™s to point out that member is new and that we cut them some slack in terms of following rules.

  • I don't think you'll be taken seriously asking for change of mind after this time, and I am unaware of any trade in offers to upgrade. Only real option is to sell it privately.

  • You can go buy whatever you like but you'll be paying for it, Doubt they'll take back a used item if it isn't actually defective

    I really hope they don't accept it back. Use something for two months and then return it? Ridiculous.

        Also, what's the point of the question? Ask JB hifi, they either say yes or no. They don't care what a bunch of random on Australia's top uninsured driver forum think.

  • in which uni you are a professor. we all are good in different fields.
    the point of the forum is asking for suggestions. Of course a lot of people are better than me knowing more than me si simply asking.

      JB hifi know better than all of us. Didn't even know they had professors of returning used goods.

    I have a soundbar, yas-101, so not in OP's price range, but next time I will go with an amp and stereo speakers. Not really into Dolby as I like the sound emanating from where the TV is so even the soundbar is in stereo mode - not into helicopters flying from behind the couch. Check out the posts on Whirlpool for suggestions.

    Update:- Went to Jb today and they were able to return it under faulty product category.

    Got the Sonos ARC with Subwoofer ๐Ÿ˜Š
