Jameson's Whisky Makers Series is all about celebrating the contributions of their Head Cooper, Head Distiller and Head Blender. Blender's Dog is dedicated to the latter, Billy Leighton, who has stated that he created it with harmony, complexity and balance in mind. Rich, creamy and full-bodied with the subtle sweetness of butterscotch and tanginess of pot still spices. Its taste brings to mind succulent fruits before giving way to an exceptionally long mellow finish with charr and subtle oak tannins well balanced against its fruity notes. A truly worthy dedication to one of the masters of the blenders art.
