That site is a good starting point. However the ratings are given purely from the writer reading the ingredient list, that’s it…
The site below actually looks at the scientific analysis, it’s carb/ protein / fat percentage etc. IMO it’s much more accurate. For example, Costco grain free is rated highly in Pet Food Reviews but poorly in Cat food DB.
The down side is it is an American site, so some Australian brands aren’t on the list. But most brands like ziwipeak, feline natural, canidae are on there

Thanks for the link /u/Broos, I haven't heard of this site before! I use RC since it was recommended to me by my Vet, but will look into this further.
Brands like RC and Hill’s have been paying universities to brainwash vet students into selling it… or just the vet clinic has high incentive in selling it in general. I know this cause when I speak with my vet friends at uni, their tutors/ professors blindly recommend it without giving them any supporting points. even gave them “big discount” but can actually be found cheaper online
Since you are already paying premium prices, why not spend the same amount on something that’s actually good for your kitties. :)

We all want to do right for our pets - and RC ain't cheap! - so I try to support people investing in better outcomes for their pets.I found it weird that Vets recommend it, until I watched Pet Fooled on Amazon (may be on other streaming services).
