Went to Harvey Norman today and saw iPod touch 8gb for $164, asked how much thee 32gb was and was told $194 so said I'll take one. Guy goes to the counter and it comes up as $294, so after admitting his mistake he said I'll give it to you for $250. Deal done.

why in christ name did he say $194? the price of the 8gb only just reached 199$ as the standard price about 2-3 months ago…
Also note, this isn't technically a bargain for anyone else but the OP (the lucky bum lol), as no other store is required to match that price.
this is more a case of "i lucked out, i hope your local stores don't have many brains".
