Double referral bonuses are back for the next fortnight, until the end of November.

MODS: Could you please flush the referral links on OzB as the referral codes were reset yesterday.

Spaceship Voyager has doubled their referral bonus to $10 for both referrer and referee once a minimum $5 has been deposited by the referee within 90 days of signing up.

A referral code will need to be added within 14 days of signing up, so you can add a referral code after account creation.

I have no association with Spaceship Voyager, only that I’ve had a good experience using it since the start of this year.

If you need a referral code, try grabbing one from the referral links below.

You can also enter a referral code after you have signed up by following these instructions:

In mobile app:

Go to Account -> Referrals -> Enter Referral Code

On Website:

Go to Account (bottom left) -> Referrals -> Click on "Click Here"

      The referral code changed for me.

      Spaceship usually purge their codes before introducing a new referral bonus so you may want to check that your app is up to date if you are still seeing an old code.

      @BargainGhost you may want to do the same if you are seeing the same code too.

        Exactly the same code as before this purge.
        Checked on mobile and desktop sites.

        There was a purge only a few weeks ago as well so seems odd that it would happen again so quick.

        Curiously, have you picked up any referrals from this post?

          I get a few clicks from ozb each time but no refs since a single one in July.
          Not unexpected though, since they keep running the same promo.

            @coxymla: I am curious to understand if it benefits the user to request the codes to be purged and then if they update their code first, they have a higher chance of referrals as the pool of codes is much smaller.

            Just to be clear, not saying this is what the OP is doing. If there is codes that need to updated, then a purge is required (or at the very least, a notification to users to update).

          Capital gains are not, but you are given a statement that you can use to fill easily.

    Weird,
    When I added the referral code, said I'd only get $5. Oh well, better than nothing! I'm guessing I'll just have to wait for my initial investment deposit to clear before I'll get a referral code to add to OzB?

    EDIT: I just looked at my profile and it says $10, so probably just haven't updated their referral bit. YAY!

    Thanks to a Dylan I didn't get the referral bonus because he didn't met the eligibility criteria to complete the referral.

    Please only add your referral code if you really use the service!

      Sigh, my code was shown a number of times before but never used, there are people that get stuck with a code that isn’t eligible for referral. :( Maybe have a chat with the agent to see if you can change your code. It doesn’t seem fair that they accepted the code, yet refused to give you the bonus.

      I actually thought those people wouldn’t have a code before they become eligible. I remember when I signed up my code was “ineligible” until I put some $ in.

      Hi psyki,

      Had a friend experience a similar issue. The problem was his account hadn’t been verified with his personal info. Once he filled in that information and deposited $5, the referral code worked for him.

      I’m not sure if this is the same issue you have but let me know if you still experience this problem.

    There is a green verified capsule next to my name under the 'Personal information' section.

    Under the referred section, it states that "Your friend hasn't met the eligibility criteria yet. Once they do, you'll both receive your bonuses within five days!".

    Would you know if your friend kept seeing that message until both of you got paid or is that message supposed to change?

      Edit: Just read through the referral terms, and they mention the below:

      How and when will the Bonus Units be given to you and your friend?
      The Bonus Units will be given to you and your friend within 5 days of meeting the Eligibility Criteria. We’ll give them by issuing the Bonus Units and adding them to your Spaceship Account and your friend’s Spaceship Account respectively.The Bonus Units will be units in the Spaceship Voyager fund in which you or your friend (as the case may be) have invested. So, if you’ve invested in the Spaceship Origin Portfolio, we’ll give you units in the Spaceship Origin Portfolio valued at $10.The number of units you and your friend receive will be determined by the unit price on the day on which the Bonus Units are processed.

      So I'm guessing we need to wait 5 days
