I mean the discount from the online price. I already have a quote close to 10% discount on new 2021 Pardo VX from one of the Toyota dealership in WA.

You may have issue with a brand new model with limited stock. Generally speaking fleet purchases go through fleet preferred dealers in your given region. I've found the best way to bargain is to go to a non-preferred dealership, and advise them what you can get it for fleet price wise, or lower if you are game and see if they can better it. Usually they will as they wouldn't normally get the job. Once you have their quote, then get the fleet company to purchase off them. I even just msg them via carsales, and wait for one to bite.
How to find non-preferred dealership in Perth
Basically just ask them if they want the job guaranteed. You deal directly with the dealer and provide the contract/invoice to the fleet company to pay. Just check with the fleet company first they are ok with this….I have done it with 2 different novated lease companies. Normally there is no guarantee they will get it as the job may be given to the other dealership in the next suburb, potentially closer to your home address.
This, this is all we ask for as salespeople. If we can match/beat we will, but some lease quotes are ridiculous.
Just don't beat around the bush, hit them straight with what you're doing and the fact you're prepared to buy from them. Bring a print-out of the quote.
Yes, I have turned people away with Novated Lease quotes as they were ridiculously priced. But hey, for you as the customer, you end up knowing you got the best deal
There's multiple different fleet levels, you can't just ask for 'fleet discount'
Whod have thought there would be a difference between a business with a fleet needing 4 vehicles vs one wanting 100.

Interesting. That's about 9% off my local Toyota drive away price. Some others above laughed at any suggestion of a 10% discount from advertised! You went close.
It's over 10%. My order included metallic paint which is $85531 drive away in WA.

The latest update (AA/ACP and 150kW) and covid supply issues has gotten rid of the sharp VX prices :(
They were selling for low $70s at the beginning of the year (which is about what they should've been IMO - facelift 1 with KDSS were around the 77k mark)

I got quoted $78,000 drive away at chullora Toyota in Sydney yesterday for a 2021 VX.
Quoted $72,000 for GXL with Leather interior upgrade
Has anyone got a better price, both above price mentioned are drive away
Some people in other forum reported their quotes which are 3-4k lower than your quote in the eastern states 2 months ago.

That is prob the worst Toyota dealer, they are part of a bigger group that fronts multiple brands across different locations in Sydney.
Try ones outside of Sydney and get the car shipped to your house for $500 delivery.
Difference between this specific and smaller independent ones can be a $ few k.
Experience dealing with major dealer groups in sydney left a bitter taste.
Most of the dealers do not have any Prado in stock. It's very likely no promotion for Prado by the end of this year. Negotiate with the dealers for a 9 - 12% discount would be realistic.
