Hi, after a couple gaming headsets around $100 or just under for the kids. Nothing special, just sturdy, reliable and stand up to kids!
- For XboxOne but used also on laptop a bit also. I know most of them are universal these days with 3.5mm jack. Looking at Corsair HS60 or Astro A10. Anything else good for the xbone?
- Mainly for PC/Mac. Looking at Logitech G322 or the Corsair HS60 also?
Anyone seen some good deals going around at present for any of these or recommend any int he similar $$$ price? Or do I wait Black Friday sales?
Thanks
On the point of durability, you should look for detachable cords (and mics, if not retractable, if they intend to use that frequently) to minimise a common point of failure. Another consideration is opting to avoid hinges and adjustable arms where possible. More and more headsets are coming out with a singular solid headband with an automatically fitting strap underneath (see the Pulse 3D by Sony and Arctis 7 by steelseries as a couple examples of this design - I acknowledge they’re out of the price range, but I’m not sure what else has this design).
If you have these features, then they’ll be more or less bulletproof for kids. Sorry I’m not aware of which specific product best suits that, though.
edit: had a quick browse and found this just outside your price range. Ticks the durability boxes and would have excellent sound and reliability due to being steelseries
