I am looking for a very pedestal fan with a remote. Ideally a fan that is quiet enough that I can leave it on all night in a bedroom etc. and it isn't uncomfortably loud.
Is this Kogan fan still the best out there and worth $100?

I have the previous Kogan Premium DC fan with 26 speeds and it works a treat at night in the bedroom. The Hyundai at $119 is probably a better deal as it's NOT a Kogan brand and has more speed settings.

look for a fan with a DC motor.
Just one of the 48cm ones from kmart is probably ok as long as you leave it on low speed. Having a bigger fan running on low will be more quiet than a small one.

Not sure if this is too $$ (RRP $169) but I have the Sunbeam 40cm Pedestal Fan - it has a remote, you can set it to turn off, and is whisper quiet ( I am a light sleeper). The drawback at night is the ridiculous lights that the panel has…. but is easily fixed by putting tape over it.
I use this one from Kogan: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-smarterhome-bladeless-dc-…. Lots of different speed settings but the lower speeds are very quiet. Also connects to your smart home stuff so you can set up automations/routines. I find the buffeting and oscillating from the blades in pedestal fans keep me awake so much prefer a bladeless fan.
