Since the batteries normally wear out after a few years, does "refurbished" include a brand new battery?
If not, what's the cost of getting a new battery installed?

      • I bought two refurb "excellent" grade iPhones from different sellers on Kogan (battery issues are a known problem with the 6s' but Apple's fix-for-free program is finished)… one had a new battery, other did not and it was not covered. Ended up an additional $79 from an Apple store for a replacement. Looks like out of warranty iPad battery replacements are $165 - https://support.apple.com/en-au/ipad/repair/service

  • $319

  • Are you associated with the seller?

    Very good for price.

    Not really.

What's the warranty on these products? And who services the warranty?

    • +3

For Used Products, we offer 3-6 months’ warranty on most of the products (conditions apply) used for private household use from the date of shipment (3 months commercial use). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by us, our may, at its option, repair the product or replace the product.

      Good luck deciphering this…

  • Is that 3rd Gen?

I'm liking the "128GB / Average" storage pitch - as this model only came with 64/256GB options, I'm assuming they have twice as many 64GB as 256GB in stock - because maths

Still, good price for an only recently retired model.

Isn't this an insane price for iPad with the same chip as iPhone XS?

  • Recently sold one for double the price shown here, buying one with extended warranty now.

    • Update- it’s Air 1 confirmed with sender, cancelled it.

  • added in cart and … sold out lol

Average condition .. i would expect the screen and body to be all scratched up

I just for some reason feel its not a 3rd gen ipad air, looking at their other listings. Theres a 64gb listing up for $289 as well.

  • iPad battery’s tend to last a lot longer than iPhones my daughters iPad 4 is still holding charge

Funny how they kept calling iPads just "New Ipad".. "New Ipad air".. "New New IPad".. "The iPad".. and no one knows which year or generation they have bought into unless you check the specs properly. Apple naming convention is just pathetic for the iPad..

This isn’t even iPad Air 2 right? I‘be found iPads tend to be great great buys in the 2nd hand market due to their build. If most people just use them around the home better off looking on gumtree/Facebook marketplace

Yeah, its a listing error for sure. Have confirmed its 1st Gen.

  • I am Android fanboy but have to admit that the battery of my original iPad Air (1st gen) is still going strong in 2020.
iPhone7 battery on the other hand is not doing that great.

I also have an Air1 & it has great battery life, can watch vids etc for hours on end..
I'm also an Android guy but need the iPad to be my helicopter for the fuel lock-ins..
