I'm looking at giving my nephews money as part of their Christmas present.
Instead of giving cash, I was looking at getting them each an EFTPOS card for them to use at any store.
Are there any cards I can purchase, that have no fees involved ?

Why don't you just give them cash? Cash has no expiry date (yet) and there is no fee for using it. It is permissionless, untrackable and can be used anywhere in Australia.
I was hoping to get the cards mailed, as I won't physically be there to give cash.

Just remember that mailing gift cards is the same as mailing cash. If someone steals them, or they get lost in the mail, they’re gone (unless you track them and insure them).
You could get the nephews parents to buy the gift card (transfer the funds for it) and just post the Christmas card and get the parents to insert them?
This is a great idea. Nicer than emailed vouchers which is what I was going to suggest
Or use https://youpay.ai/. I liked its new concept where someone can send the link to you for the payment only after they have completed the order. No extra fees.
Coles and Woolworths sometime have deals where you get bonus flybuys or woolworths points for buying an visa giftcard which is normally enough to offset the cost of the fee.
They're normally limited to once per customer though.
Find a store he likes and get a gift card. Or give them cash. No preload eftpos card fee free.
