new issues are 3 months behind, but basically the entire back catalogue is there, plus all the Star Wars stuff etc they're doing atm

It adds $6 USD tax whenever you try check out, so the price jumps up again

  • Actually it's a terrible app. Great service but the (iPad) app often takes interminably long to open comics - it's been that way for years and they've never resolved it.
New issues are added ~6mths after publication. Back catalogue is huge but not complete - they add more back issues every week though.
E.g. I just decided to read all the Punishers and found that the first 3 series are only partly there but they're all there from ~2000 onwards.

All that said, there's a wealth of comics to read and I've found the subscription to be worth it.

    • I've been going from a to z and yeah I've found a fair few issues are missing, sometimes major gaps like 2 straight years of Daredevil.
I thought maybe they were censored due to some less that complementary portrayls of voodoo, drugs, different races etc but when I've chased those issues down through a not legal method a lot were perfectly fine. It's a bit annoying that when you go to the effort and cost of wanting to support creators and pay for a service they still have large gaps which force you to still pirate.

    • That's rough the Google app works well. I've used it on a variety of devices over the years.

  • I got an ad for this browsing Facebook and the price was in USD with no indication of that until you click on the ad.

    Seems a bit deceptive.
