Was gonna disagree until I noticed the 'unlimited' disk space and bandwidth on these plans… yeah, they're in the same category as $1/mth hosts.
When I first started out, I tried a cheap provider. I got what I expected, rubbish up time and service. I cancelled after a while and found a quality provider. Cost me more, but the service was brilliant. I recently jumped to the Turnkey Internet deal because it was so cheap for a VPS and I wanted a Windows Server. The trick part is to find a quality service for a decent price.
I have never used Arvixe, but they seemed decent based on some brief reading I did at one point recently. I don't like how they advertise unlimited, when of course it isn't. Apparently you can get away with about 20 gig of storage before you get on their radar though. They will then most likely claim you are using the storage for backup purposes, which is against their terms of service.

I had a Windows VPS with ThrustVPS for around a year and it worked pretty well. I only cancelled it since I no longer needed a Windows VPS. As far as I can remember, it was US$15 per month for 1 GB RAM and 30 GB space. BurstNET also has Windows VPSes for similar prices.

TL;DR = Pass. Even DreamHost is better.
These are not bargains guys…, there are atleast a 100 who offer the same or cheaper at WHT Forums.
