Amazon's video games deal of the day is the PSP-3000 (piano black) core pack for US$100 with $16 shipping to Australia, seems to be limited to one per customer. Pretty sure the power adaptor is 100-240V so all you'll need is a plug adapter. Better than the E1000 that doesn't have wifi.

Extra US$9 for priority international courier if you want it within a week or so.

  • Is this cheaper than the new gimped PSP? In Australia I mean.

    • It's cheaper than the RRP for the PSP-E1000, although more expensive than some sale prices (it's gotten below $100 before).

      • Alright, thanks

  • Doesn't the 3000 have a region lock

    • No PSP is region locked, but you can't use PSN content from one account while signed into a different account.

  • are you sure amazon is willing to ship gaming consoles over to us? i didnt know that

    • They have let me go all the way through to the final stage, they would normally stop me before now if they didn't ship to Aust.

Gee, all I have to do now is just click that ONE button … hmmm, superfluous toy vs no trouble and strife …

  • The shipping in the title is International Expedited Shipping (Amazon quote 8-16 days). If you pay an extra $US9, you get Priority International Courier (Amazon quote 2-5 days).

    Just sayin …

    • Thanks, I'll add it to the post.

It's got some pretty decent games if you look, last year and the year before it got some impressive titles (peacewalker, monster hunter, tactics ogre e.t.c). but other than that the amounts of piracy drove devs away lol.

    • You really have no idea.

You'd Have to be pretty silly to buy this when the PSVita is only around the corner. That is unless you really like playing Nintendo 64 games on the go.

    • The PS Vita costs over twice as much as this.

Plus if you trawl Myer at the moment you can get a whole heap of games for next to nothing for the PSP - basically they're all $10 or less. Picked up God of War: Ghost of Sparta for $7 and it's definitely making the commute more enjoyable to and from work.

If you want a slightly cheaper price, you could get the PSP 3000 from EB Games as well.

Only problem is they are refurbished units.

They should come with EB warranty though.

Just a suggestion for those who don't want to wait, and don't mind a refurbished unit for themselves.

Id prefer not giving my money to EB.
Not until they stop trying to charge $110 for new release games.

      • lol, dont judge me based on that. im not a gamer :(

don't know which companies are crap and dodgy for games T__T

  • Dawwww, think the deals already over.

Mods might wanna put expired on it.

  • Looks like it's back in stock?

    • Am I able to remove the expired or does a mod need to?

      • No idea, but you might as well report it to a mod.

        • I did so, thank you :)
