Flower-delivery service Floraly, is known for its flower-to-vase model of floristry – meaning the blooms it sells aren’t cut until an order is placed online.
The Sydney company, which launched in 2019, also applies that same sustainable ethos to its miniature Christmas trees, which have been restocked in time for delivery from late November.
The tiny festive trees come in a box with their roots intact, so they can be replanted and reused year after year. At 60 centimetres tall, they also make for a tidy alternative to more traditional needle-shedding trees.
The trees come with a pop-up pot, soil, fairy lights, baubles, bells and a star-shaped tree-topper. All are sourced from Victoria or New South Wales and can be shipped Australia-wide.
After a sell-out first year, Floraly co-founder Tristan Sender says the company has a few extras lined up for the coming festive season. “We’ve got the farmer on standby with a few more trees this year,” he says.
The trees are simple to pot, fun to decorate, and a provide a living alternative to both cut and fake trees. They also make clever Christmas gifts, especially when you add a block of Koko Black chocolate and Moet & Chandon champagne.
