I purchased the Gears 5 Limited Edition Xbox One X bundle from the Microsoft store on December of last year. I have mainly been using the xbox as a source of media (youtube, netflix, vlc) to my projector, and I rarely gamed on it. I still own all of the original packaging in pristine condition.
If I were to sell this, what would be a good resale price for this system? Anything upwards of $350? Would it worth more due to the “limited edition” factor + the original packaging?

Yes but they take a ‘penalty’ percentage off it, so it’s not worth it.

No its not - i got $385 for mine this week as well when trading in for a Series X - $350 + 10% (LVL 2)
The trade in deal was for $350 for an X
Oh I thought it was $300. My PS5 preorder still says December 2021 though.
Oh I'm undervaluing it on gumtree and facebook then compared to the trade in compared to $350 plus the level trade in bonus.
Check eBay? Look at completed listings as well current ones

They aren’t all that rare. Eb games sold a lot of them last year. If you are trading towards a new console you can get at least $350 from Eb games. You should be able to get around that on Gumtree/FB Marketplace if you sell soon. I think the most you can get for this package is $400.
Advertise at a higher price and see if you get any bites, if you don’t then gradually drop the price until sold.

it was a while ago, I valued my Halo 3 limited edition Xbox 360 and was told by a few places that being 'limited edition' didn't necessarily add to the value. Something about having to find a buyer that was willing to pay extra for it, but most buyers just wanted a console at the cheapest price.
This is true, some limited edition consoles are worth little more than standard editions. Others are highly sough after and worth much more. eBay is a good place to get an idea on its value
EB Games were offering $350 + membership bonuses, same value for standard or limited editions
I bought a limited edition One X on gumtree last week for $280; the guy wanted $400 but hadn't sold for weeks so accepted my offer
So i did some low ball offers on the Xbox one S and One X yesterday as its my 9y old bday on Monday.
Xbox one S with 1 remote you can get from 200 to 250. 250 might even include 2 remotes and a game. Some trying to sell for 300 but its too expensive.
Xbox one X i made offers from 200 to 350. Seems theres a lot that will sell for 300 and it comes with a remote but no games. I got the project scorpio edition console in a box but no controllers for 230. Bought 2x Series controllers from BigW and added other stuff to reach $200. Used Save25 and it saved $50 for some reason lol.. so 380 for the One X with 2 new controllers. I would say you can look at around 300 to 350 for yours depending on controllers and games.
