I missed out on the last deal on this chair which @rambao9 posted https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/543923

And still haven't found a good enough deal on the Buro Metro which included arms, so when I saw this come up for $379 I pounced. Just assembled mine and very happy.

Current catalog is on sale until the end of Jan

They also have this chair listed for "Express Quick Ship" for anyone who isn't local to one of their stores.

For comparison, the best price I could find for a Buro Metro with arms is $352 + $27.50 here but that is with plastic base and original Metro. "The Met" is more similar to the Metro 2 (high back) with stainless metal base.

    Is this a good quality stainless steel base? Some might still oxidise and rust our time…

      Most are aluminium, not stainless - stainless would be far too heavy.

      Note, link says it's polished aluminium.
