Shower Cleaning Regimen

How do Ozbargainers keep their showers clean?

I used to do it with one of those yellow cloths and Shower Power. But we got cleaners in a few times recently and they used a bunch of different tools so I'm thinking of making the switch.

These are similar to the two products they used. I can't remember whether they had a huge bucket of suds and can't figure out whether the washer would work with Shower Power.

Anyone have any insight?

some toothpaste on a damp plastic scouring sponge gets most of the water spots off the glass with very little effort. I buy cheap crappy toothpaste for this purpose.

keep a squeegee in the shower and every time you shower give a quick wipe afterwards to get the water off the glass (90% of the job done)

$3. Hard to beat (chlorine and alkaline salts) but note it does fume/stink and use the extractor fan.

I use half water, half vinegar + a few drops of dish washing liquid on the glass + squeegee, makes my glass really shiny. I get vinegar from costco which is around $5.20 for 5L, it lasts forever.

Thank you all for your contributions. Going to try Banana's concoction with some fancy new squeegies from Bunnings.

  • Same with Banana's, part water part vinegar spray with dishwashing liquid. Any stubborn grime/molds are removed with baking soda sprayed with vinegar mix. I use old toothbrush and sponge once a week and squeegee after every shower.
