    There's been a free version of this for years now.

    • Don't think there is a smartphone app that can access it though as it seems to only be Windows based.

    A few things I would suggest people to check for security.

    1. Transmission of data is encrypted
    2. Storage of data is encrypted

    It's advised from a solicitor not to store any confidentiality or intellectual property on free services like gmail, as google owns the contents in gmail and can use it at their discretion. I'm not sure if that applies to this service, but something to be weary of.

      Of course if you encrypt it, then it's just a blob of 1's & 0's

    • It would apply to this service, as it's using Google Docs for storage. If you want to synchronise confidential, I'd suggest putting it in a TrueCrypt volume and synchronising that. I do that with Dropbox and it works well.
