I bought canister filter from Kogan 3 months ago https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/1850lh-external-aquarium-filter…
It was advertised as 1850L/H but I found it performed under its advertised rated so I contacted Kogan to claim for refund because it was a misleading advertisement. They told me to send it back for refund as their cost. I sent back on 30/10 which is now more than 10 days but it was not being picked up or delivered yet, it keeps showing "It's on its way" status from AU Post. I tried contact Kogan twice but still no response from them either.
Should I wait a little longer? I paid via Afterpay for that so I cannot ask my bank to do chargeback, can I?
Does anyone have the same situation when dealing with after sale support from Kogan?

They are not going to refund until the receive and inspect the article.
It has not been delivered yet due to covid related postage delays.
What was your question again?
Kogan are notoriously bad when it comes to returns and refunds.
the destination address is PO Box so I assume someone has to pick up the item but since it is still not delivered yet so it means that no one picks it up yet. I tried to follow up with them but no one responded to me so far. It is like under the cloud. I know dealing with Kogan is pain in the a** that's why I ask for suggestions if someone has dealt with them in returning before
It’s still in transit. If PO Box then the tracking will change to either “Awaiting Collection” or “Delivered” once it reaches the address.
Again, postage delays; expect another 3-4 days for it to arrive.
thanks, i'll wait for another week
It hasn’t been delivered to Kogans PO Box yet. They won’t process the refund until they receive the item.
Keep on waiting and be patient!
I paid via Afterpay for that so I cannot ask my bank to do chargeback,
Did you pay with a credit card?
yes, it was via Afterpay but charged thru my CC
Give it a few more days and then contact your back and do a chargeback.
While I'm not one to defend Kogan, every single pump will flow less than advertised. Generally it is the rating of the pump only, no filter medium, and no head height. Just to save you disappointment when you buy another.
I know that, I have tested after deep clean hoses and media but it still performs very poor and it super noisy for what it is powered for. I also asked other people in Aquarium forum who also had the same issue. It won't reach to 1850L/hr. I have bought another filter which performs as it was supposed to
You so get what you pay for.
Says sold by MB not Kogan. Will end up going back to third party to resolve. Kogan is going to be in between.
I bought the filter during hard lockdown in Melbourne so there wasnt a lots of choices for me during that time and this one was a reasonable choice based on its specification and I was given $20 Kogan credits as well
Just pointing out what is going to happen.
Not debating your decision.
From someone who sends around 30-40 parcels a week I can assure you the AusPost tracking is not always accurate. Quite often a parcel can simply "miss" getting scanned at different stages of transit.
10days is nothing in this environment.
A simple letter to an address 10km apart took 18days for me.
You paid for express priority I see.
you have been kogan'ed
Does Kogan provide refund ( actual $ ) or Kogan Credit Voucher ( virtual $) ?
