Philips Bodygroom Series 7000 Body Groomer $119 with Delivery @ Shaver Shop

30

Use with 20% cashback @ Cashrewards and $5 bonus cashback @ Cashrewards for further discounts.

There's also a $10 off welcome coupon. It should pop up even if you aren't a new user by opening a tab in private/incognito. Probably won't stack with cashback but I rolled the dice anyway.

Note that this has the "2D shaver". The "4D shaver" version is here and costs $209 (no sale on at the moment). The 2D version has a Ni-MH battery while the 4D one has a Li-ion one.

Excellent for achieving the optical inch ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    • from (x) to (o)

    • I tried to write this so many different ways but each way had an unintentional pun to it.
Is it actually built for the purpose you're referring to?
How does the result compare to alternative methods?

      • Yes. I remember the marketing ad for the original (which I have and is still going strong) and the dude trims everywhere and then goes there
        It's probably on YouTube somewhere

Beware this model is the 2D head - most of the 7000 series have a 3D one. It took me a while to work out the differences when looking into why shaver shop had two near identical models.

    • Thanks. Edited the post to note that. Hopefully 2 Ds are enough, because that's quite a price difference!

Edit: The battery appears different too, with the more expensive model using Li-ion.

      • Yes, good pickup on the battery. The 3D isn’t usually this expensive - both models were $160ish when I was investigating a few months back, which is why I was digging - I was trying to understand the differences given they were basically both the same price. I suspect they’ve made the price differential bigger to make this seem more of a bargain.

        • Yeah the battery thing is a bigger deal for me than the shaver head. Might give it a miss if I can refund, returns policy should allow for it.

          • @Diji: Did the $10 welcome code end up interfering with cashrewards?

  • I have an older model of this, and I find the foil shaver can pull on hairs occasionally

I'm sure they've come quite a way since 5 + years ago though

Is this approved by Jordan Schlansky?

    • +1

What would his approval mean for everyday customers?

  • So you can shave the sack and never see blood?

    • Thats what i hope also. If so ill get this!

  • Can it be used to shave the whole area covered by underwear?

    • +1

No, you must remove underwear first.

      • Technically, that shouldn't be needed, if underwear is not very tight.

  • How would the Philips Bodygroom compare with The Lawn Mower 3.0 by Manscaped?
    https://au.manscaped.com/products/lawn-mower-manscaping-3

    • After reading a heap of reviews I'm paranoid about using that for its intended purpose.

      • I was reading reviews the other day about a ceramic blade trimmer, not sure if it was the Manscaper. But some sound like paid infomercials and others talked about a bloodbath.

        • No, that is not even the same company / product. Please look at the link posted above.
