Beware this model is the 2D head - most of the 7000 series have a 3D one. It took me a while to work out the differences when looking into why shaver shop had two near identical models.

Yes, good pickup on the battery. The 3D isn’t usually this expensive - both models were $160ish when I was investigating a few months back, which is why I was digging - I was trying to understand the differences given they were basically both the same price. I suspect they’ve made the price differential bigger to make this seem more of a bargain.
Yeah the battery thing is a bigger deal for me than the shaver head. Might give it a miss if I can refund, returns policy should allow for it.
@jdr: It did, but I ended up returning that item on the spot. The NiMH battery was a deal breaker for me.
