I know a lot of people love Threadless, their designs certainly are awesome but just a warning that their prices are relatively cheap for a reason.

The last two orders I have placed gave me t-shirts with VERY thin cotton and inconsistent sizing. I purchased 10 shirts of the same size (L) in my first order a while ago and about half of them don't fit me at all (the other half are fine), the last order I placed I grabbed just two for myself (and a few for the kids) but the same problem, one fit me OK but the other was so tight I could barely get it on, the kids ones are all fine but I did buy various sizes so it's hard to tell if they suffer the same probem, the cotton on the kids ones seems thicker too. The hoodie I ordered is awesome, though.

I'm done with Threadless unless I hear they have dramatically improved the quality of their shirts.

Other's mileage may vary, this is just my experience.

    • they are thin, but better than some other site. I just always cold wash them, it stops em from shrinking. Althought i've been told, that you dont need to cold wash them, after they wear out abit.

I had the same problem as you scratch2K - I bought shirts in large from threadless a month ago, and the cuts and sizes were all different. One was just about right, one had a really tight cut around my neck, and another was way too loose. Luckily I deliberately ordered one size larger so I could just shrink them in the wash if need be.

But the make is also not that great. Most of them are a bit thin :( Quite disappointing but I didn't pay that much for each shirt so I'm not expecting great things either.

  • it used to be over $55, then over $65 (for $6 shipping).

    8 shirts is just alot.

    • Yeah it is, but it's not so bad if you split your order with someone else. That is what i did last time they had this sale.

    • You can always buy a gift card to bump up your order $$, then use the gift card the next time you make a purchase. That's what I've done in the past.

I've got a lot of threadless Ts (~35) and can confirm that the sizing can be a little bit unpredictable but I've not had as bad an experience as the Scratch2k. It's important to note when you're buying that some of the Ts come printed on different Tshirt types (and it does say which type on each page), i.e. they use Fruit of the Loom, American Apparel, Threadless brand.

I've generally been happy with the quality of them (for the $10-15 I pay) compared to generic Tshirts from JayJays/Jeanswest etc. I always wash them on a gentle cycle with my business shirts and have had no difficulties with shrinking or fading.

    • Agreed, nice to see someone with more threadless shirts than me as well :) (about 20~)

  • The quality used to be a lot better when I got my first shirts in 2006. It seems to have gone downhill from here, especially since I keep seeing other stores rip off Threadless designs…but reprint them on better quality tees.

    • link to said other stores?

They're mainly pop-up stores (overseas), not online.

  • Has everyone got their deliveries from this special? I'm still waiting on mine ordered on the 3rd day of the special?
