    Don't forget Cashrewards 12%

  • Anyone tried step one’s undies and could rate it against bonds?

    • +8

I’ve heard step one undies do very generous discounts that you can get off a spinny wheel on their website. 0/10 when it comes to fulfilment, 10/10 when it comes to pissing people off.

      • +7

Never tried them but Step One seems to me like a brand that's marketing heavy but with an average (at best) product.

I'd never buy them because their ads are irritating as hell.

        • Yea I’ve seen so many of their cringy ads, sadly not too many about the actual quality. Might stick to bonds, my cheaper undies wear out too quickly

          • @kaij: Step One are thinner and in my view comfier.

            • Airism for sporty days
            • Step one for hot days
            • Bonds for lounging days (though bonds have multiple styles, so generalising here.
    • +2

I'm a briefs guy and my undies are predominantly Bonds.
Stepone boxer briefs are quite comfy and supportive and the legs don't ride/bunch up.
I honestly think step one's are worth a try especially if you want boxers with good support.

    • -1

I tried step ones after having bonds for my basically my entire life prior.

Put simply, I would never go back to Bonds.

I would (and do) recommended step ones to anyone, not that recommending jocks is something that happens often haha

      • How’s the fit of step ones? True to size?

    • yes, I have 3 pairs, they are okish, not worth the $$ in my opinion - that bamboo itches me for some reason

  • +5

Website down. Still amazes me that this still happens

    • back up again, just made a payment

      • +1

yup - got there in the end. Painfully slow

    • Again??? They've had this issue all year round. Their fix is just to wait for the traffic to subdue.

    • And the cart never works for us in Firefox or chrome, even with addons and blocking disabled. Need to use edge. Pretty bad.

      • Never any problems with Firefox & Bonds here.

    • Still

  • +4

    Bonds is always 40% off

    • +4

      And 40% down too

    • More like 50% every 5 sec's .
Another in the over inflated RRP 1/2 price club !

  • +1

    Bonds website is balls

    • +1

It's coming to screeching halt and the checkout is trying to charge US$

      WTF Bonds.

Made in China is almost enough not to bother.

      EDIT: BACK TO AUD$ now

  • How do these compare to Uniqlo's stuff? Anyone tried both? Specifically underwear/ socks

    • +3

I have found Uniqlo's underwear to be more comfortable, both the Supima cotton and the AIRism ones. In my opinion, Uniqlo waistbands in particular are better.

    • +3

Uniqlo quality far far exceeds bonds

  • +3

Price 40% off, website performance 100% off

  • +2

Been waiting for another 40% off because bubs is about to outgrow another size of wondersuit! Shame the website is so slow and keeps timing out…

    • Took just over an hour to order 5 zippys and a couple of pairs of undies… I did two amazon orders, a best and less order and browsed other sites while waiting for pages to load. Sadly no one else makes baby suits quite like the bonds ones or there is no way I would have persevered!

  • site is taking ages to load

    • and trying to charge US$

      EDIT BACK to AUD$

  • +2

Great timing, my undies were a few decent farts away from death! Website was painfully slow, the jump across to Paypal and processing of the payment almost took 2 minutes of seemingly no activity before going through. But, it all went through fine eventually.

  • +3

Is it just me or are the prices set to $USD

    • Yeah wtf

    • Yes just noticed that.

    • Just pay with paypal, it switched back to AUD before confirmation.

    • Back to AUD$ now.

  • +1

The site is a joke. I may or may not try again later. Could be time to try undies from one of the above-mentioned manufacturers.

  • Yeah mine is converting to USD too. Hmmm

  • Haven't worn bonds in years, how does the quality compare to CK?

    • Clothes last one season before getting holes.
Not even an year. In last two years I have taken advantage of these deals for myself and family. But now I realise, I overpaid for subpar quality.
Better to buy Target or go Uniqlo for the next step up.

      Edit: Socks are OK

      • How does Bonds compare with Uniqlo? More comfortable and better quality?

        • Uniqlo is better quality and just as if not more comfy.

          • @MakkhiChoos: Thanks mate. Hopefully Uniqlo has black Friday sale.

  • If it’s part of the click frenzy does it mean the offer is only online or can be stores too? (Sorry I am new to this)

  • Oh great, just bought something two days ago, now it's cheaper and hasn't even been shipped!

  • Bonds constantly have sales, but I don't believe there 40% off everything

I noticed 3 pack of explorer socks for under $18 excluding the 20% cashback sounds pretty cheap to me

  • I'm not getting free shipping in my cart - just wanted a pair of trackies but is that because the order is under $49?

    • +1

You may need to create account and click on join "bonds and me"

      • Getting the same problem of no free shipping

  • +1

    isn't it always 40% off….

  • +1

bonds outlet vs other retailers like coles/ww who also sell bonds but their multipacks is usually less then what is at bonds, but it works out cheaper when its 50%…

just came back from coles which has 50% off bonds underwear/socks, i bought the 4pack underwear briefs for $7.50 compared to bonds outlet sale 40% 5pack for $19..cmon bonds outlet, u need to do better then that

  • anyone getting error not connecting to host issues upon making payment?

  • Tracked for me.

  • Bonds are running the same promo again during Black Friday -

Receive 40 per cent off everything on the Bonds website – from baby clothing to men’s briefs and women’s activewear – from Friday November 27 – Monday November 30.

    • My order is still processing. Anyone else?

      • Same. Placed an order on the same day of this deal and is still currently processing. I sent a query to their customer service email and got this response:

"Due to the high volume of orders as well as the safety measures we have implemented to protect both you and our team from COVID-19 the team are running behind on the dispatch of orders. Because online ordering is now the only option for the majority of retail stores, Australia Post are experiencing record breaking parcel volumes and as a result they have delays of up to about 5 business days on top of their normal delivery time frames.

As soon as your order has left the warehouse you will receive an email letting you know it’s on it’s way. It will also include the tracking number so you can track it's journey to you.

We are sincerely sorry for the delay and can assure you that the team at the warehouse and Australia Post are working as hard as they can to get your order delivered for you.

We have closed this case however, if your enquiry is not due to an order delay please reply to this email to let us know and we will do our best to have someone get back to you as soon as possible."

Seems to be either a huge backlog of orders or disorganisation.

  • order still not sent from this deal. if their pathetic website is anything to go by, they will have another influx of orders for black friday / cyber monday and we'll be lucky to see any product by next year.

  • Two weeks later and order still not even sent! I have absolutely no issue with orders taking this long IF we are told at the time of placing it. I contacted them and got the same pathetic response as above. While they would be receiving a huge volume of orders due to lock downs, so would all the other places who are still able to send an order in a timely manner. Hell, the Iconic has even still been able to keep up with next day to Adelaide!!. Best and Less said 6-8 business days to dispatch an order (unless you pay express to skip the queue) which I thought was a bit rough but still placed one and I got it yesterday.

At this rate, bubs will be a toddler and I won't actually need the Size 0 wondersuits I ordered!! Thankfully Aldi had a few styles for $12 a month or so ago so we have a couple to go on with!

    • Sigh.

      Dear Bonds Customer,

We are sorry to let you know there was a system error with your recent Bonds order and it failed to show through on our systems at the warehouse. Our IT team have now pushed this order through to the team at the warehouse and it's in the queue to be dispatched. There is delays at our warehouse due to the high volume of orders as well as the social distancing requirements at our distribution centre as our warehouse is based in Melbourne. We have prioritized this with our warehouse to make sure we can send them as soon as possible. We should have it dispatched within 3 business days. As soon as this has left us you will get an email to let you know the tracking information so you know it's on the way. We have also requested these orders be sent as express shipping so once they are in the post they should get to you a lot sooner than normal.

Unfortunately due to the delays in our warehouse team getting your order there may be some items that are not available. Please keep an eye out on your inbox, our customer service team will notify you by email if your order is impacted however we won't know this until the warehouse team try and locate the stock to fulfil your order. In all cases where there is no stock available to fulfil the order we can only refund for the items we cannot provide to you - this will go back to your method of payment and can take 3-5 business days to show on your statement. Our customer service team should have let you know within 5 business day of your orders shipping if we couldn't provide the full order.

We ask at this time that you please be kind to our customer service team, they are here trying to assist you the best they can. We do have a very high volume of contacts now but the team are working very hard to get back to you as soon as they possibly can. We are taking steps to try and avoid this kind of system error happening again. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused you.

Please reply to this email if we can help you further otherwise thank you for your amazing patience while we get your order to you.

      Kind regards,

      Bonds Customer Service

  • I'm still waiting on my order too. Wish I hadn't placed it now, as I could have picked up the same items in-store. Le sigh.

  • Just got a shipping email from Bonds, my order was placed on the 10th of November around 11am. Fingers crossed others are getting their shipping notices soon. I think I might just go in store next time but but cashback was high enough this time to warrant an online order.
