really? then definitely not worth it given virtually all FE have some element of touch screen issues.
Um, no they don't, just the vocal minority. Mines fine.
Do you mean its "fine" or do you mean you have downloaded the touch screen tester app and done the rapid alternating movementtest?
I have not seen a single FE pass that test. Not one.
@Jikx: Not to worry about this now,

Thoughts on how Samsung compares to Google Pixel?
I just replaced a XL 3 with this phone and it has some trade-offs. I miss the fingerprint scanner on the back. The in screen on is not great. Its slightly narrower than the XL 3, the camera is not quite as good but pretty close, it does not have squeeze to activate assistant which is missed. Other than that, the software does not bother me that much. I just reskin it.
I would get this over a Pixel 5
Legend, thanks. The fingerprint scanner annoys me a bit, especially when I have greasy fingers.
Except the Education Store one is Exynos.
All 5G models come with Snapdragon.
Please add "6GB / 128GB" to the title as there is also an 8GB / 256GB model as well.
Good phone, but I just returned mine due to the touchscreen issues. The updates Samsung have pushed out to rectify them haven't done so. Seeming more and more like it may be a hardware fault. Would wait until there's actually word from Samsung about what's happening with them.
How was your return experience? Thinking about taking mine back to JB Hifi. Did you refund / return and was it through retailer or carrier etc?
I got it through telstra plan. Not happy with the device. Had screen and camera issues. They didn't refund it. I was told they will send device to samsung for assessment first . So i am still waiting on that.
Thanks I'll see what JB hi-fi says tomorrow. Not going to bother sending it to Samsung, though. If I can't get a refund or return I'll just live with it. (wasn't really an issue until someone pointed it out to me)
@Drpepper666: I had issue with mine. Many people are also reporting the issue, in here and online as well. I also had my old s10 5g which is better in most areas ( except higher refresh rate and snapdragon) so I will keep that.
@Modesty: Oh to be clear I have the screen touch issue but I only notice it when using the screen test app or zooming in Google maps. I've already sold my old phone so sending this phone to Samsung for repair is a pain.
@Drpepper666: Yeah I can understand that.
Even samsung or jb says it's fine , I will have to argue because I am not going to keep that phone. Didn't like it.
I returned it to JB Hifi for a refund without issue. They suggested a replacement FE, but I wasn't going to risk it. I went there with proof (video of janky zooming, photos of the screen test app showing the ghost touches) but they weren't even interested in seeing them.
Lucky you. I tried to convince them but they said they will replace/refund but have to check that one first.
Did you got refund in GC? Which phone you choose to get now?
@Modesty: That's a shame, but I understand the policy - in general, most products will be tested with no fault found and often is a user error. In this case the fault is so widespread that it's silly to beat around the bush with it. I did mention there were numerous discussions & news articles about the touch issues online though.
I bought an S20 Plus instead. Much nicer so far. I have heard the Exynos chipset used for ours isn't great, but then I've heard it's fine after the recent updates - time will tell!
@wintermadness: Yeah. S20 plus is better in everything if you are fine with exynos. Enjoy your new phone 👍
Isn't BecexTech stuff grey import? Doesn't really seem much of a deal without genuine warranty.
Fyi. 3rd party seller
