I don't understand why people are replicating the old Foxtel model.

There's a reason that didn't work and why people turned to piracy and are increasingly turning to it again - way too many different subscriptions now with different content annoyingly split up.

Can confirm. Netflix price rise (and too much “woke” content), Disney+ charging for new releases on top of subscription, so many other market options… replaced all of them with a parrot, an eye patch and a Plex subscription…

This is the true way to get a bargain.

        LOL WOKE CONTENT!

    • It's because the content creators have seen how much money the initial streaming services received and thought "hey, I want a slice of that pie". They think that they have enough unique quality content for people to subscribe without realizing that each time one more streaming service is created, that may be the catalyst for the customer to review what they have and be way more selective in what they subscribe. I actually thought streaming services like Netflix made losses and are burning massive amounts of cash, but someone somewhere must have crunched the numbers and said that it is worthwhile to pursue for profit in the longer term.

    • I'm not sure why you are comparing it to Foxtel, this is a million times better then Foxtel due to competition.
