get their products to refurbish from?
I remember hearing somewhere that renewd
gets their devices from someplace in New Zealand
Any one have a bit of knowledge on the topic?

End of lease, or they get the people who are replacing all the computers to sell them for them and recoup some of the costs,
really old equipment not worth anything goes to recyclers.
Some could also be buying them from places such as pickles auctions as well in bulk lots, then clean them, test em and then sell them.
Source of information, I used to work in the industry, not selling refurbed but replacing old with new and disposing of the old ones.
