Had two of these, and it's not a great watch. It's not even an adequate watch.
Several times the buttons stick in, once so much it ran the battery down and I had to send it to Hong Kong under warranty for repair.
The strap will perish within 12 months, and honestly the only reason I kept wearing it was because of a third party seller on eBay who made superior quality straps.
Functions such as storm warning are a joke, and it really is only appealing to the uninformed who view its pseudo military style as some sort of commando watch
If I was out on active deployment months at a time, I might be more lenient, but I'm mostly an office dweller with bouts of small deployments to rural Qld, so nothing particularly taxing.
I've since moved onto the Garmin Instinct, but recently pulled the old Core out of a drawer, and sure enough, stiff unresponsive buttons and dead battery.
Save your money for something else decent and functional, like a Garmin.
Just checked out some YouTube reviews. One fella is in the US military and been in several deployments in various countries. He's worn this watch the whole time and apart from a slight issue with the main button not working correctly sometimes, it hasn't let him down. Same strap the whole time too. I guess sometimes you have issues with equipment and sometimes you don't.
Depth Measurement.
Thats what she said..
sorry.
