I did the Westpac low rate credit card offer and was just wondering how long those here have waited for the bonus $200. I've heard anything from a few days till months. (Official t&c's say within 60 days)

Well the CommBank one went smoothly for me but yes I've read everything from a few days to months and countless calls with Westpac
I met the requirement on 29 Sept and was paid the $200 on 12 Oct.
Annual fee was charged on 13 Oct but i closed the card today and gave them a ring, the agreed to refund the fee no issues.Ah ok. How long did you have the card for? (Hopefully I can get the fee refunded too. I got the card on Sept 20, annual fee charged on Oct 15 hit the $1000 target this week
I was approved on 14th Sept. I think if you close your card within 1 month of your annual fee charge then it should be no problem to get it refunded. I've never tried to ask for a refund after 1 month. All the best
Hey this forum might be old but not sure where to ask.
I applied for the cc arround 20 march got approved 31st. Now I can't see the promotion anymore and haven't got my cashback even though i satisfy the req. Anyone happen to have a screen shot or pdf stating the bonus expiry for proof when I call the cs? Thankshttps://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/564191
According to this it may have ended on the 31st March. So I'm not sure if they honour the cashback if you get approved before but meet the criteria after that date.
well last time what i think i did, quickly satisfy the requirement, then wait a week then call them to check if i have met the requirement (not asking for the bonus, just to confirm i can stop spending otherwise imagine you stop spending but you havent met and pass the deadline, game over!).
then sit tight wait for 30 days, then harass them politely every 2 weeks until i get the bonus.
didnt say i have to went all those step but that are the logical steps that i will do.
if you lucky you dont have to do most of them
yeah nothing is easy especially with free money.
