As much as I hate HN, I think this is great.
They do occasionally have something worth buying, and an online site makes them much easier to find and buy.
yes. Their customer service is pathetic. Sales person asked behave like they are giving away freebies. Never got an answer that stock is their for the item asked. Standard answer : stock we have is displayed. You have to run to get hold of a sales person.
Online store stock might be useful for simply asking them, where is the item.
I've just noticed that they have button for checking Store Stock levels - that's a big advantage for those who prefer shop locally (especially when you are inside the store).
