Thanks - just went to pick some up based on that
If you like Lamb Leg, Harris Farm as Boneless Lamb Leg this week for $14/KG. I've found the quality of the meat at Harris Farm to be way better than the Supermarkets.
If you have a pressure cooker have a look for chicken stock recipes, because those drumsticks will cook down into some of the best chicken stock (AKA "bone broth") you've ever had. Freeze it in some ice cube trays then store it in a bag in the freezer - then any time you're making rice or soup you can drop one in and improve it to no end.
How many litres do you think 2kg of drumsticks can make in chicken stock?
I use 2 chicken carcasses (+ the bones from wings, wing tips, drumsticks) and use 8 cups of water (2L). Yield is the same because barely any water escapes from the pressure cooker.
Damn, I'm a wing man
bagged chicken? surely has preservatives right?
No, it's fresh chicken.
