those high banana prices have given me an idea on making a quick buck-if there's some wild weather ahead buy a heap of bananas @$1.99 put them in cold storage, then when the cyclone hits sell them for $12/kg-that's $10 profit per kg! $10K per tonne is no chickenfeed-who's laughing now…..lol

Saw bananas in QLD, $2.99/kg just as regular price. Hopefully the price can extend to Melbourne.
My local Harris Farm had ripe banana's in buckets for $1.49 today which were just over 1kg in a bucket.
