    I use 2 of these on my 4G phone with gives me better stereoscopic phase alignment. I am still paying mine off as I purchased when they 1st came out.
    The balance load on work/life ratio is much better with these installed.

    To some degree i am that "paranoid friend". These do nothing. What you want is a farraday sleeve or a phone like the libre 5 where you can physicially turn off the modem and signal chips.
