  My past experience says that a wise shopper buys Maxwell & Williams once and quickly learns to never do it again. I was stupid enough to make multiple dinner set buys including a full cashmere dinner set. None of it lasted long save for the cashmere bowls which colour match my current dinnerware and are still in use as the preferred bowl after many years.

    I've had two different set of M&W dinnerware over the last 10 years and for thr price they've been great.

    I got two sets of these for $90 with the 30% ebay code a few months back from Victoria's Kitchen. For that price I was delighted. You're pushing the boundaries of reasonable at this price and I'm guessing this is actually close to its normal price.

      According to Pricehipster the lowest price at Myer has been $109.97 and $149 at Catch, .

      The 12 piece set, or even the 16 piece set, might come down to this sort of price but this is good for the 18 piece. Other Maxwell & Williams Sets, like their White Basics, sit around this price a bit. If you got two of these sets for $90 then you did extraordinarily well.

      I got 2 x these cashmere sets but only 12 in each set. For about the same price as this 18 set. I really like them. They have held up well despite being pretty fine china. My last couple of sets were certainly heavier but these definitely feel more like bone china if you know what I mean.

  I’ve been umming and ahhing on this for months. Reviews seem to be quite mixed, some websites they are great, on others they are terrible

  I saw it says oven safe, does that mean it can use as a bake tray? I am curious.
