Any fellow Ozbargainers have any experience using Xiaomi Electric Power Cat(Wifi Power adapter)? almost all information/reviews are from people in SEA and the US. its spec'd for 100 - 240V so it should work in Oz, but I just want some affirmation from local users.

I'm curious, why get the Xiaomi when there are Australian supported ones (eg. Tp link) available here? (they even have mesh ones https://www.tp-link.com/au/home-networking/powerline/tl-wpa8…)
suppose price would be the major factor here i guess, i've only got nbn50 so https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/tp-link-av… would be an equivalent TP link option, but thats almost twice the price.
Although reading into it a bit more Xiaomi's socket type might cause some issues having to go through an adapter instead of plugging straight into the wall.(edit)
