Very cheap for a very fast portable SSD. It's bloody small, smaller than all the LaCie ones I've got, even the fancy Mobile SSD to match the macbook pros.

I purchased from Bing Lee for $219 as it was the cheapest I could find. The next week they dropped the price…

Other sellers around $318

My loss… Might be someone else's gain.

    All these sites with automated pricing… Can't keep up. Officeworks was way more expensive when I purchased from Bing Lee the first time.

  Did Samsung lower the price and some retailers are slow to update? The 500GB and 2TB appear to be roughy 0.5x and 2x the price of the 1TB which seems to suggest to me that the price of the T5 (all capacities) has been lowered, ie permanent new price not a sale.

    Maybe Samsung are going to retire it. On their site, its not actually for sale anymore. So who knows, doubt they lowered the price but maybe its run out stock now.

        T5. Can’t justify the price difference. And not much difference really in the specs for my use.

        Also, several T7 reviews talk about continuous excess heat whilst being plugged in and unused, especially when compared to the T5
