Hi Mates, i just want to ask that i grabbed a Note 20 ultra from mymobile deals and if it possible to change the phone region to AU? HK version has a HK specific feature (Transport Payment) for Samsung Pay and i was wondering if i can get the Opal integration in there.
Anyone who done that before.
I can even do firmware flashing if needed.

Had this problem with a s9+ from Singapore. The only way is to reflash with the Australian software, i looked into it and it looked like it voided warranty (all for samsung pay benefits such as this) so just left it.
I have S10 HK version, but I couldn't find any other firmware for that. You can't flash AU version definitely because AU ones are not Snapdragon.
You probably can't. I'm really clueless when it comes to this type of thing tho
I imported an s8+ from a HK seller (the phone turned out to be a UK variant), the phone was basically identical to the Australian version in every way except it had dual sim. At the time, it was just a matter of changing the CSC to an Australian setting with odin (no root required) and it behaved exactly like an Australian variant (with samsung pay, 4g volte, telstra messaging working). Then the year after with the s9, they did something that made it not possible.
No clue how it is now, but I'd imagine that it's the same since the s9
Feels like it is not possible as the Australian varient is Exynos only
I could be wrong, but I remember doing it once with the Samsung S7 edge, I think I needed something called Odin. If I remember correctly if you use the intl version (or similar) it doesn't trigger the knox security the device uses and made it just like a normal device (removing a whole lot of bloat as well). I will say though, for Opal cards, I largely just use Google Pay.
Some may be more helpful though, but I think I found it through the XDA forums.
