How do you get "targeted" for these offers?

  • Thanks. It worked

  • Worked! First time ever 😂

  • Worked! ~ Gold Coast. I'd use Uber Eats regularly as I travelled frequently pre-COVID, but I've only ordered two or three times since the start of the year. Perhaps declining usage was why I was targeted?

Does anyone else feel guilty as sin when ordering uber eats and not tipping the driver at least $3 extra? It nearly makes me stop using these services entirely. I can't get my head around how much money the driver could be making having to drive to the restaurant, drive to me, then on to their next location and it be worthwhile for them. I know it's their choice and if they weren't making enough money they wouldn't be doing it but I can't understand how these guys do it. I've also started to notice a lot of duo deliverers where one person waits in the car and the other jumps out to hand over the food. Sometimes it looks like a husband and wife couple.

Even just having the page come up asking if I want to tip as a standard part of the ordering part of the process makes me feel bad. Especially when they include the message about "delivery partners are critical to our communities in these difficult times" or something. Screw you, no I don't want to tip on the regular, just tell me what you want me to pay in the first instance and don't leave it ambiguous to me as to whether I'm being cheap and exploiting some underclass of workers. I myself am unemployed and shouldn't be wasting my money like this but I'm also depressed, feeling too anxious to go outside today and eating anything is the first priority.

  • Only got 6, that's fine, Menulog it is.

  • No dice :(

  • eats8222 worked for me hurstville sydney, Cheers Mate!
