  maybe a noob question but does it work with all cars? or does the car need to have a specific amount of power output ?

    its a good question ! So it appears it can draw 10amps when full loaded.

    Check your cars book or inside the fuse box panel and you will see how many Amps your ciggy lighter is rated at. If the fuse is 15amp or upwards, you're good.

      It says 54W, so it will draw roughly 5A at the ciggie socket.

        true it does, I never did the maths I just saw it said 10.2A. You're probably more correct.
