Review? I feel like some of these free e-books are hot garbage.

I just skimmed it, it's not too bad. It's a little heavy on the theory at the start whereas I prefer a more practical approach - doesn't get into code examples until half way through but it's not a long book so that's manageable.
I can't see a publish date, but the info it's still pretty current as Arduino still sells the older Uno boards and the IDE hasn't changed much over the years.
Overall it's probably above average for the quality of free books that get posted, and a good intro to Arduino if you can get through a bit of theory at the start. If you prefer to learn by example though there is plenty of free material online that would be just as good.
IMO you're better with youtube clips and /r/arduino on reddit. Really friendly and helpful community.
