    Geez, I remember HUP used to give Office for $15…..

      You're paying for the cloud storage, but yes expensive if you only need the "office" functionality.

      Anyway, this is not really a deal since it has been ongoing for some time now (since they canned the standalone packages ~Aug 2019)

          I heard that last year was the last time they were offering HUP for full version installs of Office, and even then I had to go to the US store to get it. I bought the three for $15 each (office, visio and project).

          2019 will do me for a while.

      That was before Microsoft migrated the Office onto the cloud and made it a service for subscription (read as another way to make more money)…. and stopped offering Office as a standalone software on the computer.

        They still offer standalone, non-subscription purchase for Office, just not through HUP.

        For how much longer, not sure.

    they screwed over hup buyers by removing the special hup installation routine… licence conditions were never one of microsofts strong point except to whine about everyone else breaking them

    Awesome didn't even know I could get 30% discount via HUB.
    My annual Family 365 subscription is expiring in less than a month, and have been paying in full for several years, timely indeed.
