yeah it seems like the "refurbs" on the sony ebay are more like stock that arrived at retailers damaged so got sent back, never heard a story of somebody getting stock that seems refurbished, always a damaged box or absolutely pristine
or they banged up on purpose to clear stock?
Also got mine this morning from Ebay Refurb. For "refurb" theres not a mark on the headphones or box and they look and smell brand new. Very happy.

Same. The quality of the headphones is practically brand new. Either Sony has some seriously good workshops or they weren’t really bad to begin with. Box had a slight crinkle on one corner… that’s all.
