Xbox Brazil Code Redemption

Hey,

Could someone help me with redeeming Brazil codes?

I've tried using a VPN (ZenMate and checking my IP was in Brazil) to redeem but it comes up with "we're having problems processing your payment". I didn't check reoccurring payments for the 1 months free as well so I don't know why they have asked for payment details. My payment details on the account are active and correct

I've tried on redeem.microsoft.com as well as on Xbox app.
I've made a new brazil account as well to try on that but to no luck.

The code comes up as the 1 year membership so it's not an issue with a used code.

Also have tried changing my account region to Brazil and no luck.

Any thoughts?

      Yes, incognito with Chrome, cookies deleted. New web browser with Brave Incognito as well

    It's been a while since I've redeemed a code from Brazil, but what I found to always work was making sure you do it on the console itself after going into settings and moving your location to Brazil. The console will reboot, then you'll be able to access the redeem code function on the Microsoft Store tab.

    It's been ages, but that method should still work. Once redeemed, you can switch your location back to Australia in the console settings.

      Does VPN via router need to be turned on for this?

        I haven't needed a VPN. It shifts you into that particular region's store, so I guess it's not required.
