PS4 Assassin's Creed: Valhalla Deal as of October 2020

Hi All,

I am a big fan of Assassin's Creed and after owning Odyssey I can't wait to play Valhalla. I am planning to keep my PS4 until I get PS5 (most likely in 2021) so need to get into this open world game to spend hours of gaming fun.
I am very much tempted to pre-order this off Amazon for $69. Anyone here knows when they will ship as the game comes out on 10th of November ?
Is anyone else doing a good deal for this game ?

EBgames has two selected trade games but not sure if I can just give away my FIFA19 as I don't have any other games to trade off except Mortal Kombat 11 which I might just keep.

Do you guys reckon I should press the trigger in Amazon pre-order or wait ?

    Amazon can be hit or miss with launch day releases. I tend to get them on launch day to CBD parcel locker without fail, others haven't been so lucky.

    Valhalla has a free PS5 upgrade if you buy the PS4 version. If you love the series, go ahead.

    I live 10km from the city and get everything to a nearby post office parcel locker … getting it to city CBD is it going to be a hit and miss too ?
    How long are the delays usually with Amazon ?

      I’m not sure if PS4 saves of AC:V will transfer to the PS5 version though. From a quick google Ubisoft have not confirmed it either way.

      Your cheapest option would be buying two $10 games each anywhere else and trade them towards EB Games +$29.

      Examples are:
      Shadow of The Tomb Raider PS4 $9 at Jb-Hifi (trades in for $11 at EB Games)
      Lost Sphear PS4 is $10 at CeX (trades in for $11 at EB Games)
      Titanfall 2 PS4 is $10 at CeX (trades in for $10 at EB Games)
      Shenmue III PS4 is $8 at CeX, trades in for $11 at EB Games.
      Kingom Hearts Hd2.8 Final Chapter $8 at CEx trades in for $10 at EB Games.
      Others:
      AC Chronicles PS4 is $12 at Cex, trades in for $12 at EB Games
      Doom PS4 is $12 at CeX, trades in for $10 at EB Games

    If you have a CEX near you and bothered they have Shadow of the Tomb Raider for $12. I traded in two copies last week so it may still work. Comes to $53.

      Price raised to $18 now.

      But there are other options like shenmue III at $8 (trade in is $11 at EB Games), Lost Sphear $10 (trade in $11), Assassins Creed Chronicles $12 (trade in $12).

    Hi all that's fantastic.

    So let's say I go to JB hifi buy 2 copies of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and then walk to EBGames and say I would like to trade in these 2 games ($9 times 2 = $18) +$29 for AC-Vahalla will that be okay ? this way it's costing me $47
    Now the thing is will EBGames take this as an option or not ?

    Just found out JBhifi doesn't have in store stock within 200km from me and CeX store is also not on the way. We are planning to go to Miranda or Bondi Junction Mall over the weekend and want to get two games from JB-Hifi and walk to EBgames and trade in.
    Could you please recommend me some games that are available in let's say Miranda or Bondi Junction Westfield JBhifi so that I can trade them in at EBGames Westfield ? Thanks so much in advance

      Look at the eligible games here and buy the cheapest you can find. List might be out of date so call EB for trade in prices before buying.

        thanks mate that's a huge list. I did first few searches in JB hifi they all seem over the $30 per game. If anyone knows which games JB hifi games for $10 would get me a trade of $10 in EBGames that'll be much appreciated. The Tomb raider would have been great only issue is it's not available in stores.
        I could call Miranda/Bondi Junction JB hifi (if they have the game you recommend in store as I need few names) then call EBGames for trade in value

      Yes, that would be it.
      They also had Unravel Yarny Bundle for $10 but is out of stock.

      Other options at CeX:
      - Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 $8, trades in at EB Games for $10
      - Shenmue III $8, trades in at EB Games for $11
      - Titanfall 2 $10, trades in at EB Games for $10
      - Lost Sphear PS4 $10, trades in at EB Games for $11.

      Other options are more expensive than $10.

    Guys thank you so much just pre-ordered AC Valhalla. Got Doom and Titanfall 2 =$22 from CeX and $29 for preorder from EB Games. Saved $49 yay !!!
