Anyone have any experience with an XCarlink system? Looking to install one for music from iPhone but also wanting to install the bluetooth unit for handsfree.
The other unit I'm looking at is the Griffin Roadtrip Handsfree which is basically a radio one but also has handsfree.
Any other suggestions apart from installing a new unit?
The stereo in the Camry is very basic with no AUX input or USB and only has MP3 CD.
I had an XCarLink adaptor for my Mazda RX8 - plugged into the CD Changer port on the stereo, and the unit thought the iPod was a CD Changer (steering wheel controls changed tracks, skip disk = change playlist etc)…I had it for 5 years, just sold the car this week, and it was fantastic…Mine didn't have Bluetooth due to it's age, but when I buy another car I will likely get another one…
