Just called them. They just needed to ID me as it was my first ever purchase. Talked to a lady and she IDed my address, email and phone number so that I'm not a scalping bot or something. She sent the gift cards instantly and told me it's only a one off verification. I suggest you give them a ring as well 👍

Ok I'm having another problem. Bought the gift cards - converted one for a JB HiFi eGift Card through TCN - got them instantly
But I'm trying to make a purchase and JB website is not recognising the vouchers… did anyone else have this issue?
I checked the 'balance' of my giftcard on JB website and it is full balance (therefore the giftcard is legit)
Do I just have to wait a couple of hours till it is usable or something?
Mine worked instantly on JB after I redeemed them as JB Hi-Fi gift cards, so not sure why yours isn't.
@BeerCrisp: called JB, my voucher is fine, their website is acting up today (known issue) - she said to wait a few hours or try incognito/alternate browser etc

Has anyone encountered issues swapping the HIM GC to JB hi-fi GC? Mine keep coming up with message saying "Swap request cannot be processed".
Had you already redeemed the card?, redeem straight as a JB Hi-Fi gift card so you don't have to swap.
That's what I am trying to do, the first one took 3 trials to be swapped successfully. I got 9 more to go but none of them now work. It keep coming up with the error message. Any idea why is that?

@BeerCrisp: Oh silly me, I have been redeeming my gift cards for $30 and not $100…. I was doing it on my phone for easy copy and paste but didn't notice the 'select value' section, and it automatically defaults to $30.
The only options available are $30,$50,$100 for JB GC.
Any idea how I can redeem the remainder of $70 on my HIM GC?
@Wsk: That is a bit annoying, might have to email them and see if they can fix and put it all on the one JB GC. Or, depending on what you are buying, you can use all of the gift cards and then use the HIM digital Mastercard feature to finish the payment with the $70.
Edit: Actually, convert the $70 to the 'in-store' HIM card, use that card to buy a JB Hi-Hi GC worth $70, just tested this process and it works.
@Wsk: Then I've used all my $100 GC's to buy multiple $500 GC's, just to make the process easier. So you could join your $70 & $30 GC that way also.
@BeerCrisp: I couldn't see the $70 gift card option available on JB website, where did you find them?
@Wsk: There's a Nominate value (between $10 and $500) value selection. Or you could also select value $100, add the $30 GC and use the HIM Mastercard for the $70.
@BeerCrisp: Oh that's very strange…I was on my mac and couldn't see that option while using safari. Switched to my desktop using chrome and the option shows up!

@[Deactivated]: Not quite, so you'd purchase 10x $100 HIM cards and then redeem them as 10x $100 JB cards as that's the highest value you can. Then to save the hassle of presenting a tonne of $100 gift cards in store I went to JB website, added a $500 gift card to my cart and paid for it with the $100 gift cards.

@mapletian: Hey, yeah so I guess there are three options with these cards:
1. Use the redemption link, type in your details select 'In-Store'. This will send you an SMS and make you download the TCN app where the 'digital Mastercard' will be stored. You can use the card details to buy anything online from the selected stores as you would a normal card. However, only to the value of the card (max $100) and as online stores won't split payment it isn't much use for purchases > $100.
2. You can use this 'digital Mastercard' to purchase multiple gift cards at the selected stores. So yes, go to JB website and buy a $100 gift card with the $100 digital Mastercard.
3. Instead of selecting 'In-Store' select 'Online', it will then ask you to select the retailer and will instantly send you one of their gift cards, which can obviously be used in store and online.
If you're only after gift cards to the one retailer, do option 3, if you'd like to keep your options open as to where you spend it do a combination of 1 & 2 as needed.
Did that make sense? Basically you can get a Mastercard or a specific retailer gift card out of it.

I made a mistake by converting them into $30 JB GC and because the only options available are $30,$50 and $100, I have to redeem the remaining balance into a digital mastercard.
I then used my digital mastercard to purchase multiple gift cards (separate transaction) on JB website, the first one went through with no issues, thereafter all my order has been declined. I got in touch with JB and this is what they say:
"Our investigations have revealed that a system error occurred that caused the decline of your order, due to the velocity of orders placed."
Make sure you don't make mistake like me, redeem all your HIM gift cards into JB $100 gift card directly to avoid any unnecessary hassle.
@Wsk: Hey mate, I also ran into an issue with JB cancelling a few of my orders for the GC's paying with the HIM Mastercard. Did you resolve it yet?

I can confirm your card/PayPal account has not been charged. Only a pre-authorization has occurred.
A pre-authorization is a practice of validating electronic transactions, holding the order value unavailable until either the store charges the account (also called a 'capture') OR the transaction is cancelled. As your order has been cancelled prior the capture no funds have been withdrawn.
The hold on the funds may appear as ‘pending transaction’ on your statement for 4-7 business days.
They said it will be fine for me to do those transactions again when I receive my funds back. I haven't receive my money back though. Would you mind letting me know when yours returned?

@marktomtom: I put in 5 GC orders today. Just did it slowly throughout the day and alternated between my phone (mobile network) and my PC (home wifi). So different IP addresses. I think it's just when you're on the same IP and ordering a lot in a small amount of time, becomes suspicious.
@marktomtom: Yes as @BeerCrisp mentioned, just do it slowly and not all in one go. The JB staff told me because we are doing it too quickly in such short amount of time and that's what causing the issues.
I did 4 of mine today every 20mins.

TCN GC can be converted to either instore TCN card or store specific GC, instore TCN card can be used to purchase store GC, store GCs can stack to purchase GC of larger amount.
Therefore redeem to TCN instore card will provide the most flexibility?

Just letting everyone know that they're doing stricter verification. I received an email from them this morning:
"Please email us with which Union you are with and your Union Membership card (not the Union Shopper card) so we can verify your details as a once of request. Once this has been received then the cards will be emailed."
Yeap, I'm in the same boat as you. Paid $2000 last night for both HER and HOME cards and received the same email this morning.
I only signed up to Finance Sector Union on Monday and got approved yesterday, however they advised Member Advantage is the one who will be sending out the digital membership card and they only do it once every fortnight. I was told I won't receive mine until 3rd or 4th November.. it sucks I know… I don't think there is any other way around it though. Do let me know if you able to overcome it.

You will have to swap the Home GC to $100 TGG GC first, then you will have to purchase a $500 TGG e-Gift Card via their website but the payment method you would use the $100 TGG GC you swapped for.
That works with JB hifi, I assume it will be the same for TGG.
Clarification please the Him Card in Union Shopper does not show JBHIFI as one of the retailers, but when we click into another link it does.

Scratch the ‘I can’t find them’ clicking on the above links not signed in did nothing for me. Signing in and clicking on the OP’s links worked but does indeed appear to be $250 daily and monthly. Still am a little concerned order history is blank though.
