Needing a Laptop for under $1000

  From what you are describing have you considered an ipad (with our without a keyboard) instead?

  'Need good graphics' - not for what you are describing e.g. casino games
  Integrated Graphics will run most modest or older games quite well - casino or online games no problem
  Integrated Graphics also cheaper and can lead to longer battery life on cheaper/smaller machines

  There are regular deals posted under $1K - the Lenovo with Ryzen 4 in 14" or 15" are often <$900 and would suit e.g.
  Thinkpad E15 $887

    Think OP confusing graphics quality vs graphics performance.

    Think OP needs an IPS panel with 1080p rather than TN with 720p. That I could be wrong. OP might want to spin the virtual roulette twice as fast.

  Thanks for the replies.Definately needs to be a laptop , partner is old school & just can’t adapt to using a iPad even with keyboard lol..was unsure on what graphics would be needed to run those type of games .

    All good - any laptop should meet your requirements inc desktop/casino games
    As per @Netjock look for a better type of screen e,g, IPS panel with better resolution (at least 1920x1080)
    Find a deal and post back here with a 'should I buy XXX ' or just watch daily for a laptop deal again :)
