The IT Crowd - Complete Series 1-4 Box Set [DVD] Approx $26.20 from Amazon

350

Pretty cheap for 4 seasons and it's a pretty funny series. Works out to be about $6.55 a season and you need a region free DVD player.

Heres my affiliate link if you're feeling generous.

Great show, pity about the region. insert rant about greedy media publishing companies and region-based price fixing scams
Still, super cheap so giving a +

    • It's moot given that pretty much all players in Australia are multi-region.

Hang on, you just made me realize someone does that to me too, they've done it a few times now aswell.

    • hahhaahh
yeah .. i used that trick so they would call back and get someone else. i hang my head in shame.. but i was new to the job at the time and it was specialised software :)

Excellent bargain, hands up if you have the IT Crowd theme stuck in your head now!

  • Have you tried turning it on and off again?

    • Are you sure it is plugged in?

      • +1

i always used to joke about that one, but i had it happen once. If you could hear embarrassment over the phone, then i heard it very loudly.

        • But as you may recall, on that episode Roy got smashed repeatedly with an expensive high heel soon afterwards by one very angry lady whom he dissed over the phone lol :p

  • Slightly cheaper here: http://www.zavvi.com/dvd/the-it-crowd-complete-box-set/10215… (GBP 15.95 as opposed to GBP 16.57 at Amazon).

    • now thats a true ozbargain find

      nice

    • Unfortunately Zavvi's price works out dearer as they do not deduct VAT.

      • +1

I've already deducted VAT from the Amazon price.

  • i LOVE this show!

'Wait a minute… The elders of the internet…
The elders of the internet know who I am!?'

It goes on top of Big Ben, that's where you get the best reception.

a gay musical, called "gay", that's quite gay

  • Just a query on region-locking, are computers region locked or could I watch this on my PC without any troubles?

    • +1

      graydoh

DVD-ROM drives are region locked and you can only change their region a finite number of times, three I think. Once you have run out of changes the drive is permanently locked to that region.

However don't fret because video-playing software such as VLC player let you play DVDs region-free without changing your drives firmware.

      • Brilliant, cheers.

      • And you can always take the next step and rip it and burn a new dvd in your region.

You'll be fine, run it with VLC.

  • It's a pity that they aren't making another season :(

    • freaking shame, they say they don't want to stretch to the length that we start hating it.

    • Oh no :( Coulda had atleast another season or two..Was a brilliant and highly amusing series.

    • there doing a specail ep soon and then maybe another episode

  • What's with amazon charging for delivery again on this stuff though? That hikes up the price a lot.

  • It is a good show. also its good to watch something different if you've watched too much american sitcoms.
Just a heads up there are only 6 eps in a season, so only 24 eps. work out at $1/ep

  • I came here to drink milk and kick a*se…. and I've just finished my milk
