This looks like an interesting unit to me. I'm after a laptop with Ryzen 3/5/7 (i dont care) but I just want the Vega onboard.
Hell even the base 4c/8t Ryzen 3 Pro would be fine. I would like Type C power and just plain FHD monitor.
HOWEVER… this unit seems like a good deal in the US at something like $500 $600 but its not good here at something like twice that.
Also this is no better than an Acer…. in fact its worse!

ANd MSI is a real 2nd tier company for laptops IMO especially here where support isnt so good.
Oof even for say $750 AUD this laptop is a big ask given the severe limitations… you will need to always have a type C -> type A dongle.
I have the msi gs65 stealth and the aftercare msi gave me was excellent. Had 2 problems, one of the fans acted up, they replaced it no problem and no fuss, same with a screen issue. The screen they replaced it with I thought was looking funny, so they replaced that again to my satisfaction. I live closish to their Sydney office though.
