110

I'm sure you all agree that we err need 32GB to store all those err … 'documents' so…

Select from 3 different styles of 32GB strontiums at centrecom for 26 bux.

I haven't bought one yet as have just gotten the email, but I have the 16GB model and the write speed is around 10MB/s so I assume these will be somewhat similar.

I just hope centrecom don't pull the 'mis-advertising' on me like they did last time.

  • $0.81 per GB. Noice

  • do you know if there's any way to attach this to a keyring?

  • Altitude: 80,000 feet (relative to sea level)

so it can't be used on the International Space Station then… :(

Ah, will be of no use to me then.
      Thanks for pointing that out.

It might be OK for use inside the ISS (given that it's pressurized). Just take it out of your pants pocket before you go EVA. (For various reasons, kilts don't work well in space, so pants are definitely the go).

  • In store or on line only?

    • im guessing it means ya carn't pick one up going through kfc

bought a strontium 16gb card, didnt know wot class it was but slow as a snail taking a dump, ever since ive avoided this brand like the plague, its not to say this isnt a good deal and probably my 1st experience with them has put me off, but 1st impressions counts for me.. + for the price though, although i would go with more reputable brands like sandisk.

    • You realise that even Sandisk sells slow drives and fast drives and cards?

For example, the old Sandisk class 2 microSDs are pretty slow devices.

      • Are you sure llama, IIRC the old Sandisk class 2 microSDs were actually faster than current class 6/10. I think stumo has a thread on whirlpool about Sandisk class 2 speeds
