Browsed the Google Store website but couldn't find how to trade in my Pixel 4 for an upgrade. Does Google have this kind of program in Australia?

from my experience, going 1 model up wont give you a lot in term of money wise and new functionality/feature wise / improvements.
best is to wait for 2 generation ie number 6 from 4.well unless you print your own money go ahead

If you are with Telstra, there appears to be a trade-in program available. It is available for Pixel 2 which I currently have so assume it's available for the P4.
No trade in programs for Google Australia
Google says nope, no trade in program here in Oz unfortunately. I would suggest try to sell on gumtree or FB marketplace (be careful of scammers of course), or if you have any special selling offers from eBay give that a go n use it to fund the Pixel 5.
